Central House, also known as the Friends Meeting House, is a significant historic building in Manchester’s city centre, continuing to serve as a hub for the Quaker community and a space for public events.
Stone Edge were appointed to carry out essential external and roofing maintenance works to preserve the building fabric, prevent water ingress, and maintain its safe use for occupants and visitors.
WORKS INCLUDED:
- External cleaning and vegetation removal to roofs and parapets
- Lime repointing and localised brick and stone repairs
- Roof repairs including slate replacement and leadwork renewal
- Rooflight refurbishment and sealing to prevent water ingress
- Internal decorations and general making good
